The problem with economics is that it is incredibly complex and the cost of failure is incredibly high. This has led to a mindset that rejoices in small changes, and micro-evolutions (though there have been the occasional Lenins and Thatchers who had the courage and the power to make fundamental changes.) Economics was a complicated field before the globalization of trade, culture, and the black market. Now, it is more so.
The purpose of this wiki is to begin rethinking economics from the ground up. We will revisit basic ideas like-what is property? Is there such a thing is intellectual property? What is money? We aren't going to just give pat answers, we are going to dream what economics could be. That is the path to the future. Not patching a broken-down set of ideas, but envisioning a future that is informed by our past, yet unconstrained by its limitations.
Still unconvinced?
